Pearl Seraphina Lee is a London-based movement artist and performance maker originally from Singapore.

Graduating from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts in Dance [Diploma] and Performance Making [BA], and most recently from London Contemporary Dance School’s MA Dance Performance, she has evolved and honed her personal practice of challenging what performance could look like inhibiting a multicultural and multi-disciplinary lens. Her personal practice is derived from the influences of her culture and upbringing in a multiracial society. Having been trained in both traditional eastern and western Contemporary Dance forms, Pearl is intrigued by the potential and possibilities of fusion between the forms. She has devised and choreographed original pieces that instil her values of authenticity, rawness and truth within her work. She enjoys processes that push the boundaries for audience experiences with storytelling, narratives in performances and both physical and immersive theatre. Her current interests lie in connectivity between individuals and the vulnerability of speaking from lived experiences in dance.

Pearl has had the pleasure of collaborating and working with the likes of Benjamin Johnsson, Hannes Langolf, Theo Clinkard, Jenna Jalonen, Tom English, AE company (AΦE) in the UK and Andy Benjamin Cai, Zaini Tahir, Rei Poh, Goh Shou Yi, Rachel Lum and more in Singapore.
